Description

The development consists of the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels mounted on an elevated, adjustable tilt frame system above the existing dwelling roof at 89 Pangarinda Drive, Wellington East (Lot 900). The solar panels are mounted using the Clenergy PVezRack® SolarRoof system, which is a proprietary aluminium and stainless-steel mounting system designed for residential rooftop solar installations. The system includes adjustable tilt legs allowing the panels to be installed at an angle (approximately 10–60 degrees) rather than parallel to the roof surface. The mounting system is constructed from structural-grade aluminium alloy (AL6005-T5) with stainless steel (SUS304) fasteners, and is designed to comply with relevant Australian Standards for wind loading and structural performance. The installation is fixed to the existing roof structure and does not involve any extension to the building footprint or change to the existing use of the land. The solar installation is intended to provide renewable energy for on-site domestic use only.
