DA Leads Australia is operated by LIMON TECH (ABN 12 305 679 180). This policy describes how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of personal information:
- Account information: when you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Payment information: when you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment details. We do not store your credit card numbers.
- Usage data: pages visited, searches performed, leads saved, and features used within the Service.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and referring URLs, collected automatically when you visit the site.
3. Development Application Data
DA Leads aggregates publicly available development application (DA) records from council planning portals across Australia. This data is published by councils under statutory planning notification requirements.
The information we display relates to the development project, including its location, scope, estimated cost, and approval status. We do not display individual applicant names. We collect and display planning data about properties and developments, not personal information about individuals.

4. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Service
- Manage your account and subscription
- Send transactional emails (account verification, subscription updates, saved lead alerts)
- Analyse usage patterns to improve features and performance
- Respond to your enquiries and support requests
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing without your consent.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers for authentication, payment processing, email delivery, mapping and analytics. These providers only receive information necessary to perform their function and are required to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.
Some of these providers are located outside Australia (see Section 6).
6. Overseas Disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers are located outside Australia, including in the United States and France (see Section 5). Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the APPs. By using the Service, you acknowledge that some personal information may be processed overseas.
7. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
- Restricted server access with SSH key authentication
- Regular software and security updates
- Payment data handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant Stripe
8. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised usage statistics. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
10. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
