- The proposed battery system includes 2 containerised BESS. Each of the BESS container has a dimension of 9340*2600*1730 mm (W*H*D). Therefore, the 2 BESS containers would occupy a land area of approximately 33 square meter. The 2 containerised BESS (Hardstand No.5 in the civil layout) are proposed to be installed next to the existing inverter station (Hardstand No.2 in the civil layout) which is far away more than 80 meters from the closest property boundary. The 2 containerised BESS are manufactured by Sungrow. Each of the containerised BESS has a capacity of 2.752MW, which makes the 2 containerised BESS having a capacity of 5.504MWH. This would enable the 2 containerised BESS to charge and discharge in full in 2 hours respectively. There will be no changes to the access/egress of the site. We have also attach a Noise Test Report from Sungrow (manufacturer), test results can be found in section 2.8. As the inverter and the 2 BESS containers are located more than 80 meters away from the fence, it is expected that the noise would not cause issue to neighbourhood.
