- The application seeks amendment to Planning Permit PLN19/0322 pursuant to s.72 of the Planning and Environment Act. The site has Heritage Overlay HO330, located within NRZ1. The amendment relates to previously approved maintenance works including replacement of existing roof sheeting with heritage-grade galvanised steel roofing, replacement gutters, downpipes and timber fascia boards to match existing profiles and appearance, repair of existing rafter ends, and installation of a flush-mounted solar energy system on the rear roof slope. A planning permit is required under Clause 43.01 (Heritage Overlay). Proposed works are predominantly maintenance and like-for-like replacement retaining existing building form, roof profile, heritage character and streetscape presentation. The proposed solar panels are located on the rear roof plane, flush with the roof, and will not be visible from streets.
