- ‘Removal of Native Vegetation within the Merriang Road Reservation’ adjacent to 1115 Merriang Road, Woodstock. This application is required to facilitate the construction of an intersection and left-turn deceleration lane on Merriang Road – in accordance with the Donnybrook/Woodstock Precinct Structure Plan. The deceleration lane and intersection are required to support the proposed residential development at 1115 Merriang Road, for which a Planning Permit Application PLN-45619 has been lodged with Whittlesea City Council. proposed developments impact on the surrounding road network. The assessment concluded that a new intersection to Merriang Road is required to ensure the safe operation of the development. It further identified that a dedicated left-turn decoration lane is necessary to provide safe and efficient vehicle access to the site. The construction of the left-turn deceleration lane will require the removal of native vegetation within the Merriang Road Reservation.
