- We request approval to remove a regulated tree in our yard. The casaurina tree is approximately 14m from the house. It has a circumference of 120 cm, measured one metre from the ground. There is a self-seeded juvenile Hoop Pine that is growing very close to the casaurina. The two trees are competing and the casaurina is struggling. We wish to retain the Hoop pine, which has seeded from our large significant Hoop pine at the southern boundary of our property. The upright trunk growth of the hoop pine is being affected by the close proximity of the casaurina.
