The Proposal comprises a completed single-storey room addition of approximately 14 sqm footprint, used as a bedroom, constructed within the rear courtyard of an established five-dwelling development on a parcel of approximately 601 sqm, and connected internally to the existing dwelling.

Minor changes to floor level and exterior material

The premises will be used for the display and sale of flooring products, including carpet, timber, laminate, hybrid and vinyl flooring, as well as window furnishings including blinds, shutters and curtains. The showroom is expected to receive approximately 4–5 customer visits per day, with a maximum of two staff on site at any one time. The tenancy benefits from six allocated on-site car parking spaces within the underground basement car park. No manufacturing or industrial activities are proposed. No building works, structural alterations, extensions or renovations are proposed, with works limited to internal and external painting, installation of showroom displays and minor cosmetic fit-out works.

This application seeks approval for a minor modification to the front external door of Residential Home Unit 8, 26-36 High St, Northcote VIC 3070. This building falls under Heritage Overlay. The purpose of this change is to improve the internal amenity by improving access to natural light and ventilation for the lower floor of the dwelling. Overall, it is expected that the proposed changes will improve the energy efficiency, airflow, liability and security of our home.

Section 72 amendment to Planning Permit D/299/2023 to allow: 1. 66 sqm extension to the existing canopy to extend south above the two (2) DDA parking spaces located to the west of the church entry. 2. Extension of the existing western balustrade to match with windows. 3. Demolition of on existing DDA toilet, west of the Sacristy and replacement with two (2) standard toilets in the same location. 4. The proposed amendment seeks approval for a 1.45m extension to the previously approved development at the rear addition.
