Description

The erection of a shed for domestic use. I am purchasing a new Australian steel shed from Olympic Industries. The shed is a 'typical garage' with a roller door for vehicle access facing the street, two doors and two windows. It will have a concrete floor. I propose a 600mm concrete path on both long sides of the shed and a 5000mm wide concrete driveway from the roller door to the front boundary. I have intentionally chosen a shed large enough to accommodate a solar system on its roof, and a solar battery inside, rather than spoiling the visual integrity of the property's 100-year-old residence. I will be connecting the shed to rainwater storage tanks placed behind and in line with the shed, parallel to the southwest boundary fence. The shed may garage motor vehicles and/or a motorhome, lawnmowers and gardening equipment, store household items and be used for various craft and creative activities. As indicated on the plan, an old, unsound shed/lean-to is currently being dismantled.
