Description
Our plan is to construct a new shed/garage: The primary garage will feature a concrete floor, a single large roller door, and PA access doors on the walls leading to lean-tos at the rear. It will contain: • A storage area at one end • Parking space for a car/s • Space for a camper or caravan Noting that it requires sufficient height to accommodate a van with a height of 3.2 meters Lean-to A has concrete floor and sliding glass door at front for external access and will be utilized as an Art Studio Space. Lean-to B will have concreted posts and a gravel floor. It will be utilized as a greenhouse/aviary. The site is mostly flat, so only minimal preparation will be needed. As part of the development, the freestanding carport located on the eastern side of the current garage will be demolished; both of these buildings are visible in the Google Earth view. The existing garage—identified by its solar panels—will not be removed, but instead used as a tool shed, hobby workshop, or storage area because it is too low for our cars or a caravan. Vegetation on the neighbouring property will screen the new shed from the back of the neighbour's house, providing visual separation. The shed is well spaced from the side boundaries and is not close to any septic tanks.
