I have been running a personal training. Studio called Immortal Fitness on St George’s Road in Thornbury for the last 24 years. I have changed location twice already over this time but I have always been able to maintain the loyal community that we have developed. Due to a dramatic increase in rent, I am needing to relocate the business again. Thankfully, I have been able to secure a long-term lease in a building only a few doors down from where we are currently located I will continue to run the business in the same manner I have always done at this new location We are a personal training studio. I have 8 trainers including myself. We all work at varying times with our clients, conducting one hour sessions and 30 minute sessions. We provide a personalised experience where we help people with their individual goals and strive to encourage and inspire them to be strong, fit, mobile and healthy The busiest time of the week tends to be at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday night and 6:30 pm on a Thursday night where for a one hour period we can sometimes expect to have around 20 people Other than at these times we generally have anywhere from 1 to 4 trainers working at any given time with anywhere from 1 to a handful of clients each. Communication with our clients is a big part of what we do therefore background music is at a reduced level so we can converse and instruct our clients Operating hours will be Mondays 6 am to 9 pm Tuesday 6 am to 9 pm Wednesday 6 am to 9 pm Thursday 6 am to 9 pm Friday 6 am to 9 pm Saturday 6 am to 5 pm Sundays 9 am to 5 pm In terms of works being carried out to the premises. I will paint the front of the building and part of the inside of the building. There are no allocated on site car parks, however there is one hour parking on St George’s Road directly out the front of the building. There is also unlimited parking on surrounding streets on both sides of St George’s Road. With my current business there is always ample parking for our clients and surrounding residents and since we are only moving a few doors down this will be exactly the same.
