Description

Removal of one maturing Desert Ash (Fraxinus angustifolia), identified as Tree T1, located within the rear yard of the property. The tree is approximately 15 metres in height, with an estimated canopy spread of 13 metres and a trunk diameter of approximately 0.67 metres. It is located approximately 1.7 metres from the side boundary fence and 1.3 metres from an outdoor storage shed. Removal is proposed due to the tree’s poor structural condition, historically altered canopy structure and ongoing epicormic growth, its constrained location close to the property boundary and structures, and the ongoing maintenance requirements associated with retaining the tree. There are also concerns regarding potential interaction between the tree’s root system and underground services, including plumbing infrastructure reported by the adjoining property owner. The proposal is for the total removal of Tree T1 only. No other trees, buildings or structures are proposed to be removed or altered.
